If you don't mind the drive. Take the hills in Pleasanton then come back down mount Hamilton into San Jose. It's about a 2hr drive but a bad ass one if you like turns. There's nice little stops on the way as well.

Go out to Healdsburg. Hop on Dry Creek. Take it to Skaggs. Take highway one to just passed Bodega Bay, bang a left into Santa Rosa then head home. Dry Creek and Skaggs are my two favorites.

Take a cruise up Hwy 4 to big trees, about 1:30 one way. Or any other time 108 to 120 into Yosemite, but the fire has the shutdown right now.
