The entire school was evacuated, and the gunman and police exchanged shots, but no one was hurt, and no one was killed.

I'm very thankful that she was able to help the situation. By like a few others have said...... His guy seems to have been more of an attention getter then a cold blooded murderer. Most mass shooters could give a shit it someone was trying to talk them out of killing people. In the sandy hook incident, the guys mother tried to also talk to her son. He went as far as killing his own mother to commit his crimes. I'm still thankful the situation ended up going down the way it did.

The word 'hero' gets thrown around way too much and it dilutes the true meaning of the word. This woman is a legit hero. She put herself in harms way and saved a bunch of kids from a lunatic.

For sure the Atlanta school teacher is a hero. On another note, it's refreshing to see CAFords glorifying an un armed school teacher instead of a Racist gun blasting coward like Zimmerman.

This lady stepped up and put herself on the line for those kids. Good on her. It took balls to do what she did. But again, glad this guy didn't really want to do any killing. Or he would of just shot her unarmed ass down. Then went about killing others. Of course that doesn't make what she did any less heroic.

Cobraracer tell me how well the law and sign that says gun free zone worked? Just about as good as the law that says felons can't own a firearm worked. Only a fucking retard such as yourself seems to not understand this.
