Tell me which restaurants are doing this and I'll go. I hate it when these little shits are being loud, causing a ruckus, having tantrums and not to mention the big ass mess they leave for the poor staff to have to clean up. Keep your loud ass kids at home, also they should ban them at movie theaters.

Did u forget u were a kid and u did that shit to your parents. I understand that there kids thats are loud and out of line but thats not the kids fault.

a better solution would be to designate a section for kids to eat at a restaurant with their parents...similar to a smoking section. kinda wrong to ban them all together during peak hours.

It's not fair for the kids too, its always the bad parents who have no control over their offspring that ruin it for everybody else. There will always be FAMILY friendly places for you to take kids too, but don't bring your kids to BJ's or Yard House and let them ruin everybody else's dinner.

Weak minded people. Sweep the problem under the table rather than address it.

Discipline your kids and make them mind.

Seriously, my kids start making noise at a restaurant, lessons get taught real quick.

+1000 all my parents had to do was give me a look and I knew shit was about to get real if I didn't change my attitude.

As a parent I know that my kids are not ready for fancy restaurants why cause there not kid friendly but thats me as a parent. Now do I agree on banning kids from restaurants and I say no. Banned the retards parents that cant handle their kids.

This is a result from that weak ass time out shit. Once kids stopped get an ass crackin, they walk all over the parents.

Banning kids is ridiculous! I have two young kids who we take everywhere with us. I understand bars and places where only adults should be, but restaurants? Thats a freakin joke that won't fly in my book!

If you can't stand kids then you have some personal issues that need to be dealt with... [Embarrassed]

I get where this is coming from because I had the same frame of mind when I didn't have kids. Now that I have kids this is a pretty lame excuse and like turbo said you need to have your kids in order if your going to be taking them out somewhere.

Just cause you didnt strap on a condom and now have these little bastards running around making a mess and screaming all over the place. Don't expect me to have to deal with your laziness of not wearing that condom and now it results in me being disturbed at dinner time. You're kids are your own problem nobody else should have to deal with. LOLOLOL Dirty sally, let me baby sit your kids bruh.

I found that the best way to avoid screaming kids is to avoid cheap chain restaurants. Go to more expensive places and parents won't spend the money on the rug rats. And if there is a "kids menu", run.

It's not discrimination. The business is marketing to a specific group. They actually limit their potential income by reducing the amount of customers available. Customers = $$$ and if they chose to only chase a small portion of the money, let them do it.

Yes good point. LET THE FREE MARKET DECIDE.

Lol it's a public area it's just something u have to expect to happen. not saying it should happen but it's life...I don't think it's always necessary to control such things.

Theres grown ass people who act a fool as well. I was at BJs the other night and there was 2 tables on opposite sides of the building who were trying to talk to each other the whole time and had to yell over every one else! How hard is it to just sit at the same damn table?

It's the free market. Restaurants are private sector, not government. They can refuse service to anyone for any reason. If you don't like the policy of a business, don't give them your money. If enough people do this, the impact to their bottom line will encourage the business to change its policy...

If people keep going there, then obviously more people agree with the policy than oppose it. I for one, would eat at a restaurant with such a policy.

I don't agree on a ban, I have two kids my youngest has autism but they never get out of control. If one does we will go out side and he will be straightened out. Instead of a ban how about the restaurant grows some balls and tell the family that LETS their kids get off hook to leave.

Some of them have already banned the shits and sales are up!

Those of you who let their kids dictate everything and do what they want: do you realize that letting them run all over the place in a restaurant is a liability for the restaurant themselves? I have a friend that I really don't care to eat out with anymore. His kid makes a mess everywhere we go, he runs all over after he's done eating, and if he doesn't get what he wants, he screams and throws a tantrum until he gets it. If that kid runs into a waiter carrying a hot bowl of soup and gets burned, you know the scumbag parents will hire some scumbag lawyer to sue the restaurant. While I don't agree 100% that a blanket ban on kids is the solution, I can certainly see where they are coming from. You have too many pussy parents who won't police their kids nowadays and it ruins it for those families who are more respectful. Bottom line, restaurants are a private business - if they choose not to serve kids, they have every right to do so. They have a right to refuse service to anyone, just like the no shoes, no shirt, no service policies. Let people's wallets decide whether or not the policies were the right decision.

just because your friend has a bratty child doesn't mean everyone else has kids that don't listen. I agree keeps your kids in check but once again a few bad apples ruin it for everybody
