I guess I did the wasted my 20's thing. I spent most of my 20's living it up. I traveled, I partied, I chased pussy. I did it all! Now as a guy in his late 30's I don't have to wonder what that was like. I can sit back and coast the rest of my days, knowing I packed more in to my 20's than most people do in 40 years. I lived life. [patriot]

I lived it up in my teens lol! Slowed it way down in my 20's, and now I'm 30 and feel that I'm well on my way. I didn't watch the video posted but to all you guys in your 20's, stop fuckin around because you'll regret it when you're older. Set yourselves up right [patriot]

im very glad you all are watching the video if you have not you def should its an eye opener if you think your 20s are a time for you to just mess around...

and warhorse im glad you are still doing well off..however if you worked diligently in your 20s do you think your situation would be different today? yea partying is cool but it should not be a way of life neither should drinking, drugs or going out or just not always engaging yourself in everything you do...

its a known proven fact if you spent more time grinidn in your 20s not only would you be better off now but you wouldnt have to work so hard

Glad I'm not the only one who realizes this. I'm currently 20 and I realize that prime time is now, there is no time to waste, your not getting any younger, so do work now. Good post and video [patriot]

Maybe. But maybe I would of died in Iraq or Afghanistan. When I say I wasted my 20's. That really isn't true. I was already slowing down by the time I was 25. Partying got me a baby at 18. With a crazy baby mama. I spent the next 8 years trying to get custody.(I did but another story for another time.) Chasing her all over the states with the fbi, seem to make me party harder. By the time I hit 21 I had been partying hard for about 7 years. I was still doing it but had already started to slow it down. I bought my 1st house in Neb. at 22. Still partying just not as much. By the time I was 25 I pretty much stop the hard partying. At 26 I got full custody, and was done with the partying. The whole time I had a full time job. Yes I'm sure my life would of been much different if I had not got my baby mama pegnant. I would of enlisted with the rest of my friends & family. But hey man that is how life plays out. Like I said. I did things in those years most people will never do. Do I regret it? Some things I did I do. But for the most part, NO. I had a damn good run, and if my life ended today. I'd be ok with how it played out. It would make for 1 hell of a movie!

in your early 20s...u go to freakin college and then soon after u make money. not work right after hs like a grunt and keep doing that for the rest of ur life. [Razz]
thats what i heard is the recipe that seems to work for those beyond 20s that are in a better financial situation.

There's no right or wrong way to live a life. There are people chasing money and forgetting to live life thinking that's for the future. The future is important but you can't forget about the present. chasing pieces of paper at all costs isn't exactly my idea of a great life either.

Btw I have a great job that I love and I went to school and all that. Just don't understand some peoples obsession with money is all!

Life is of what you make it.

Have your heart stop a few times or pop some kids out. That will change your perspective on life.

Truth right there! Lost my brother & got into a wreck 3 months a part. The wrecked broke my back, leg, and shattered my ankle. I didn't walk for 2 years. When you take a fat hit like that. Shit changes your life. [patriot]
