Added a little something to the rear. 4 piston caliper, 13 inch rotor. Fabbing up a custom parking brake next.

It's good to see a 4 piston brake set up on the rear of a mustang. Despite what a lot of mustang people say. A 4 piston rear big brake system is not too much brake as long as the front calipers are correctly sized to balance the rear calipers. It's good that you don't believe in the usual "all you need is better front brake pad" cliché.
I'm also working on putting a 4 piston brake system with a separate parking brake caliper onto the rear of my 2001 Cobra.

A potential downside is the Wilwoods are not a floating caliper like the stock calipers. Depending on how much slop in the C clips allow the axle to move, you'll could burn through the rear pads pretty quick. The advantage of the floating caliper is that it moves with the axle.

In an IRS Cobra rear end, the axels are do not move from side to side, therefore, a higher performance fixed 4 piston caliper with larger brake pads that last up to 3 times as much as the stock rear pads can replace the binding stock heavy iron single piston floating caliper.

Good point about the IRS axles. I have no experience with them so the issue I raised about axle movement may not apply.

Your description of the stock rear brakes is a bit over the top. I had the Cobra brakes and now have Wilwood calipers. The Cobra setup is actually quite good.

sweet! I thought you sold it T?

Thanks fellas. Almost sold it, but had a change of heart.

The brake setup feels a hell of a lot different. The pads and brake system really start to shine when the pads get some heat in them. I don't get to drive the car often, so I can't say how it feels under hard braking yet. But it bites damn good from the small break in I did after installing the rear.

The pedal feel is different from stock. Honestly it bites a lot harder now that the rears are on (of course). It felt like the factory rear brakes were useless before with the 6-pistons up front

Sounds nice. I have seen a bit of your build and it is very tasteful. Glad to hear you kept it. Good luck with future endeavors.
