When I purchased this car, I wasn't worried about numbers or power; I just wanted the car to look good and sound nice. Well, I've done those two things already so now it's time to go faster! Slowly, but surly lol.
Mods: JLT Next Gen CAI, UPR o/r X-pipe, Pypes M-80s...no tune.
254rwhp 292rwtq
It was done on a Dynojet machine, and SOMEONE was telling me that's why my numbers were so high...but, there were about 5 or 6 cars that had been dyno'd and tuned recently that made LESS power than the other places they were tuned at. I had two pulls and the numbers were pretty much identical. So, rain on my parade if you must but I don't see why they would try to hype MY numbers up lol.

whats done to it? just exhaust, and an air intake? thats not bad seeing how they claim 260 from the factory.

yea that's all that I have done. And that 260 rating is at the crank, correct?

Pretty much, Most cars at a dealer that advertise their horse/torque statistics is at the crank. so if you're putting 254 to the wheels, thats not bad at all!
You should look into getting 4.10s in the back. I have a stock 2004 roush ( never been dyno'd ) but it pulls on a friend of mines 2004 GT and he has headers, X pipe, magnapacks, short shifter, JLT intake, larger throttle body and intake.
you'll take a bit in the MPG department with gears, but its not unbearable.

yep, I have my 4.10s ready to be installed actually. I'm waiting on a PM back from someone selling a tuner then the gears will go in. can't wait.

good shit man! put a 91 octane tune on that thing and itll free up some horse too! You should hit up SacStangDriver for the 4.10 swap. he does good work at a reasonable price.

actually jaehow this dyno is the most accurate dyno ive ever been on. I dynoed a 2012 5.0 bone stock and it made 365rwhp back to back multiple times. Its the only dyno i trust so i say your numbers are right, looks like you got a healthy motor. Nice car btw.
