my gf is taking me to the giants game in San Diego for my bday at the end of this month. any suggestions as to what Web sites offer the best deals or what's a decent affordable hotels in the area?! any help its appreciated. thanks!

The Motel 6 in down town San Diego by the Little Italy district is a nice place to stay and it's reasonably priced.

Kayak is your friend. The park is in east village area and you can search for places near the park.

Stay at the Marriott...has a bad ass bar on the roof that looks right down on Petco Park.

thanks for the replies ill check them out. not sure if my girlfriend wants to stay at a motel 6 though. i sure as hell wouldn't have a problem with it. shoot, i wouldn't mind sleeping in the back of a truck bed for a few nights lol but you know girls......everythings gotta be perfect!!!! haha

I usually stay at the gas lamp Hilton. It's close enough to walk to the park.
