Took a month but after tomorrow's cut and buff the engine Bay will be finished!

Wanted to say thanks to Danny cars not done yet .. But now starts the car to be fully repainted to its factory color but it will look better then it did when it rolled off the show room floor

This particular cobra hasn't been stock in a long time, so I'm not shedding a tear about it. Dave's right it's been around, I bought it off of Putter as a roller, and before that it was 70mach351's before. Dave probably knows more history on it prior to 70mach351.

The aprons were hacked up already before this car was bought it was a strip car we are trying to bring it back as nicely as we can

did u leave studs for the sway bar, or welded nuts in the mount holes?? i like the cover look for the mounts, just curious?

Yup studs go the other way and welded in place

The bolt was flipped around and welded in place before I got to the car.

nice i used the short Chevy v8 head bolts for mine and welded them down. your cover is way better than how mine looked. i really freakin like the whole thing man! congrats!!

I gotta get the car tuned first!! It is tempting though after I seen how nice this came out... The stock color really popped after the clear went down... After the cut an buff it should really shine [Eek!]

This is what the car looked like when I first got it.

It had ghost flames and all that bondo in the bay. Danny really had to take off all the old bond and I bought the scottrodfab panels to put in instead of the bondo filled holes.

Karma and inspiration, it's very hard to find pics of this done on the Internet. The only real thread I saw with engine bay pics was cafords, so I'm not sure if its a NorCal thing.
