66 or 69 mustang If you can find one in decent shape, if you find a 66 throw a 351w with a 4 speed or find your self a 69 an go all original either way you go be prepaired for all the thongs your gona collect in the trunk.

65 or 66 A code as #1
65 or 66 anything as #2

sure you can do an "elenor" with a '67 or '68 if you want

but '65/'66 is tha shizz IMO

if you can afford a fast back any year mustang would be nice. 69-70 coupes look almost as bad as any 71-73. if you are looking for a coupe 67 is the best looking year for coupes. Falcons are bad ass and you dont see them as much

GO WITH A 67 COUPE THEY SEEM TO BE MOST DESIRED AMONG COUPES BETWEEN THE YEARS 64-68

IMO, the '67 is the most difficult year to restore because of all the mid-production changes made. It's half '66 and half '68. The '67-'68 are the best styled Mustangs though.

So the 69 isn't worth it

'69 and up coupes are ugly as hell! Stick to the 64-68 models...but if you're talking about fastback, then 69/70 are good too!
