Ok so I'm just reflecting on how long I've been trying toget this car on the road. My car has been down and under a cover since feb. of this year. I'm on the final stretch of completing the car with its motor & blower install. Those that know me or heck even those who don't understand how stressful it is to hit bump after bump on the road to completion lol... How long has it been for some of you guys?

I bought my blower in November of 2010 and still have yet to install it. That's when I consider my bills started since that was the first REAL go-fast part.

Hopefully she will be assembled and tuned within the next month or so. Really want to get her painted before spring sun hits.

Still ain't done, probably would have if I would have just not cheaped out at first so it made me change complete setup like 4 times. I shouldn't be far I hope in April to get to ripping, just working on stiffening my chassis at the moment.

My 393w took a year to build. I just worked on it in my spare time weekends. The car though is a never ending project. Go out to some car shows, you'll get the car itch again to get it done.

I bought my roller May '11...Got the motor and tranny in...Need to rewire, fit a larger radiator, Order the NOS kit, Repair(re-work)the header on the passengers side.
I'm sure there are a few other things I am forgetting.
Needless to say I am not pleased to see the car sit outside... corrosion is not my friend.

My build took 7 months..pulled the motor out first of the year, sent it out to get built and got it back 4 months later in april..installed everything at home..little by little everyday i would come home and spend at last a few hours a day wrenching..took me another 3 months before i got to finally turn it over for the first time..still took some time to get the bugs out and fix some issues but the car eventually made the 700 HP mark

I've been working on it for a little more then a year, that's redoing my car front to rear and it took quite a while to receive my engine. Then running into little BS problems like having to switch my MM K for another one.

My brother and I have been working on his Terminator conversion for about 8 months, should be starting it this weekend.

Lol you may be right!! I think I bought the 39lb injectors from you back then... I ended up getting 42lbs and now I will need 60lbs and I still have yet to ever install any of them. Just different power goals as I buy better and better parts hahaha...

My car was on the road all the way up until February of this year. Damn you know it's been too long when you confuse dates lol... Hopefully we both finish in the next month or so

My LX took about 4yrs.
Motor, trans, suspension, brakes, blower, paint/body.
It's my 7th one and a keeper due to bringing my son home from the hospital in it lol.
Pulled up to the front to pickup xwife and son in a 5.0 with a big cam and straight pipe lol.
Before that all my projects were never done.....this is the first that actually finished. Although there are lil things I still wanna change, so I guess it doesnt REALLY mean DONE.
But it does just sit locked away neglected 8months a year
