Got a call last night from the Hayward police department that they had my car. They told me it was on Winton and they needed me down there ASAP. When I arrive to the scene I see my car surrounded and they had a perimeter set up. To make the story short apparently my car had low jack that I didn't know it had it. So the officer was cruising around and the low jack signal started going off, so the officer came across my car head on but suspect crashed as the cop was turning around to pursuit the vehicle but when he did the u-turn the suspect had ditched the car, bailed and ran. They searched for like two hours with the k-9's but the punk lucked out and got away.

Haven't really had a chance to complete check the car out but here are a few pictures of damages. passanger axle's done for sure, driver side is more than Likly gone too. Sway bars bent, rear end looks like it shifted, Rims are done. Going to jack it up and take a look now. Thought I'd share with you guys.

Nt sure how low jack works but if possible HPD needs track location of car, after reported stolen, maybe we can see where they are leaving the car. I'm sure these are same people who have my coupe. Let's catch these thieves have them spend Xmas behind bars

Piece of shit thieves made an attempt on my fox a couple nights ago, and it has really kept me on edge. I have every type of car theft deterrent you can think of (including Lojack) and more. Unfortunately, sometimes that still isn't enough.

The thief got away most likely with whom ever drove them to steal it. That's what happened when my conv got stolen. Most likely they jumped back into the other car.

The car is looking ok actually. The drivers side wheel looks bent because the passenger side axle tube is on the floor. The body of the car was being held up by the wheel in the wheel well. All it needs is some 5 lug axles, since there is an extra housing here.

Taking photos of my plates, and just really overdoing how they were looking at my car....even for a carshow. I confronted them and asked why they need pics of my plates.
Guy tells me its no problem and that they just really like the car.

It suxs that we can no longer enjoy these cars without worrying that someone will attempt to steal it.
