I'm selling my vert to buy a pick up in a couple weeks so I'll be buying either a cobra or cts v in the spring.. But I'm stuck between the two. If you had 20 grand which would you choose and why?? Cobra and v owners feel free to chime in with any input and/or pics and vids.. Thanks ahead of time cafords!

If I had to pick between a termi and a newer LSA CTS-V I'd pick the Cadillac. So long as money isn't a problem.

For guys saying women don't drop Panties for Cadillacs obviously don't own one, never rode in one, never sat in one, or smoke crack lol....

Go check one out at the dealership fellas and then go sick in a termi and let me know how you feel... Sedan or station wagon are the only ways to go

He said he has 20 g's to spend so he's obviously looking at used.

With that said either one of those car's sound like a good choice, however you may consider a 2010 and up SHO.

Positives: It's a Ford, twin turbo, awd, roomy, auto and paddle shift, huge trunk, fun factor, sleeper, quiet, gas mileage when you don't stomp on it, heavy but still handles nice.
Just a tune will do low 4 sec. 0-60

Cons: under braked, 4450 lbs,

Well it honestly depends what you want. Something just to go fast in that's not your daily driver. Or a daily driver with some nice speed...

I'm in your same situation but am choosing to make my current mustang my race car since its already payed off and getting a nice daily driver with some speed... Nothing is wrong with an LS6 Cadillac they are nice... Also check out 05 and up Audi S4's.... SHO is also nice but not sure on the proce

CTS-V if it were me. Comfort, 4 doors, and power if needed. If I was in my 20's then the 03 Cobra for sure.

You also have to consider if your going to mod the car. Is it going to be a DD or are you going to drive it once in a while .
I personally would go with the V . A Zo6 drivetrain in a 4 door

Good luck with an Audi S4 if you go with that. An Audi is a fun ride untill the warranty runs out and then you have deal with frequent and expensive repair bills.

I will always own my 2001 Cobra, but for my next car, I'm looking at buying a used ride that is fast, handles well and won't break down and right now the Lexus ISF is looking real good. I Dont want my next car to be a tinker toy where I'm having to constantly fuck with it ( I do my own wrenching) and the ISF is reliable as hell unlike the German junk.

tough choice but depends on what you want to do. if you wanna go fast, get a cobra. if you want a dd, id rather have a ctsv.

honestly, the ctsv is more car but the cobra is just so dam flashy.

Ctsv is a ls6 new Ctsv is a lsa a new cts-v shouldn't be compared to an old cobra. If it were me id get a v more versatility plus most you can find aren't fucked up

03/04 Cobra. Find a nice clean one for under 20k put a smaller pully and a good tune puts down over 430rwhp and fully smog legal. Can't really beat that.
