Trust me guys iam not a sadistic or inhumane person I wouldn't do it to a labrador, yorkie, german sheherd, etc But I will dock the tail of a rottweiler, crop the ear of a doverman or pitt/bully. To me that's just how it is with them.
I understand how you guys feel but I didn't just cut there ears with scicors and called it a day. I went to a kennel that puts them under while this is performed. Again sorry guys I know for some of you this must hurt.

ears must be cropped if you are going to show your pit officially.. I used to have a bully & an APBT that i took to shows & stuff, and it was required that they had their ears clipped.. Some associations are ending that rule, but a lot of shows n events still uphold that rule..

this, plus ears pointed up will make the dog seem more aggressive towards other dogs

i do agree with the OP with if its a rott's or doberman need to have their tail cut. i hate seeing them with tails

You got any pics of your other litters when the pup(s) are a bit older. How much would they weigh when matured and how does that compare between a male and female.

should have kept them long...

According to this logic we should all hack off our dogs ears so they never appear aggressive towards other dogs [Confused]
It's still inhumane to mutilate an animal and chopping off anything on one is just that

To me personally I can go with or without cropped ears. But I'm curious for the ones that are really against it and say its inhumane:

How many of you have kids (boys) that were circumcised? Cause you can say that's inhumane also and that God made it that way so it should stay that way.

Good point!
God, or say, nature made it that way for a reason. Religion is the main reason circumcision is done and it doesn't make it right.
It is inhumane as well and it's obvious when the baby screams in pain to let you know it.
Good times...

Cropping ears can be benificial also, it can help prevent ear infections and sensitivity to water in them. Now, it can also be bad in some areas like agility and i believe on average cropped eared dogs live less longer than floppy eared (dnt remember why)....but op gorgeous dogs, is tht a gladiator cut? Looks too short for show cut.

Great point. People circumcise their children all the time to appear more aggressive to other boys.

Maeco those are those are some nice dogs. When grown, how tall are the dogs? How much do they weigh?

They definitely look better with ears, not sure why people think that makes their dog look tough.

Damn I wanted one of those females but no money or time for them and I too would have kept the ears just my preference.

actually they are more prone to get ear infections with cropped ears..

N no theyre not show crops.. They look like a size 3 or 4 short crop.. all show crops cut the bottom part too, but these pups still have them..

I wouldnt do it but they arent my dogs to make that decision. As long as they all have good homes and dont end up in the pound its all good. Nice looking pups, they look very healthy!
