Just wondering if anyone does crossfit as a hobby or is an competitor. Gyming and lifting heavy isnt satisfying anymore to me. so to those who do crossfit: how do you like it and how is it beneficially? and for those who dont know what crossfit is, here is a quick vid. and yeah it only looks easy. i just got done doing my first workout tonight and already felt like throwing up after doing a 30min exercise. http://youtu.be/tzD9BkXGJ1M

I started a little over a month ago, I love it!! its highly addicting and ive lost weight and feel stronger. For anyone wanting to try it out I know most places have a free intro class, I highly suggest you take it and give it a try

I love crossfit. it whoops my ass every time. There are quite a few good crossfit places here in Sac, the only problem is that they can be quite expensive

I've done it for about a year now. Crossfit involves a lot of olympic lifts, so you gotta make sure you always keep a good form or you'll fuck yourself up.
The strength days are my favorite though... Tire flips, Weighted sled pulls, rope climbs, etc. I haven't gone in a while because I've been busy though. Which one you going to?

Rather pump iron with proper form any day.

ive been doing it for about 3 years. Its a great workout. Theres a good place in east contra costa, or diablo crossfit in concord. Sac there is centurion, crossfit anywhere, crossfit rocklin, or crossfit east sac. Its expensive but you get what you pay for. And as far as form, you get coaching and they will teach you good form.

You are a fool. Cross fit is great as it is a dynamic exercise that engages core body muscles resulting in a more effective workout.
There is nothing with lifting iron, but cross fit is better. By the way, a lot of gay guys go the gym, but I'm sure you already know that.

+1 this idiot has no idea what he's talking about!! I'd do it but I'm flat out to lazy right now to sign up and make the commitment.

How can you hate on crossfit?! Especially during summer when the women wear next to nothing and look like this(sometimes). I sand bag sometimes so I can be in the back with a good view.

Never said it wasnt effective and it's not up to par with bodybuilding trust me. I probably wouldn't take advice from someone who doesnt have time to workout your probably just a fat person who's lazy to make time

To me crossfit works only if you have proper technique and you want to lose weight. You want to try a hard workout? Go sign up at a boxing gym. I boxed for nearly 10 years and that cross training was fairly easy compared to a real workout

I heard from friends that delta crossfit has a pretty damn good program. There's a crossfit competition happening this Sunday in Brentwood. Bodybuild is a tough sport as well but the only tough part I see is the continuous dieting.

Yeah the dieting part sucks the most. I just bulked 40+ lbs and now I want to achieve something else than lifting heavy.

Don't have a problem with the actual crossfit training. I just have a problem with the metro sexual dudes that go all out with the special shoes and equipment. When you spend your time buying matching clothes and equipment to work out and care WTF you look like while working out then you are a re-tard.

Damn 40lbs your a beast bro that's extremely difficult. I'm having a hard time gaining because of my metabolism being so fast hoepfully I'll be up to 185 sub 8% body fat by a may.
Therea those people who want to dress up everywhere you work out it's stupid they care about how they dress more than putting in the work to physically
Look good.
