I honestly wasn't sure how Romney would do but his confidence was high and I like that. He wasn't defending like Obama was and yes, Romney's eye contact was what I like to see when talking about the future of this country.

It was a great debate, I got to say Romney did a excellent job, and has great oral communication skills.Obama on the other hand, paused too much. But Romney did not explain how he would tackle the issue like Obama did.

I just Love how Romney stated over and over how great schooling became in Massachusetts, after he became governor. I want to see him say that about a culturaly diveres state like California....

I'm surprised that Obama didn't call out Romney on his 47% comments or about all of the cash that Romney is hiding in offshore accounts. My guess is that since Obama is ahead in the polls while Romney is behind in every key battle ground state; I think that our president just decided to play it safe and not fuck up.

The economy during the Bush administration made the middle class gap and rich and poor gap grow. It will take more than one term to correct the problems that Bush started, including the war for oil control which tripled oil prices....

4 years is a long enough time to get a good enough grip on solution.

Not too long ago a single working man could afford a house, send 2 kids off to college, have the wife at home and then retire with money in the bank.

Another thing is importation, I think that if our country stopped importing so much foreign goods that it would help provide alot of manufacturing jobs and employment in general for a vast amount of people and I think that would really help boost the economy. just my couple pennies.

I'd love to see a dollar amount beccause I know I don't make that much money..... But I figure between paying into SSN, state, federal taxes & sales tads on items I buy shit even going over the damn bridge I'm giving the government in some way or another around 12,000.00 a year.

That's just me. Now multiply that by all the other Americans paying into the system...... I can't even grasp how yhe government can spend money faster then a NFL rookie's first check or a Rapper in a strip club.

I think the greatest and most power nation in the world should not be led by one single person. The office should have a person from each opposing side, so they can to rational ideas,
that will benifit the nation as a whole not just the wealthy 2%.

. If Obama keeps his word, on Increasing exports and keeping jobs in America he could turn the economy around. But from an economist(not me) point of view, the profit margin is greater else where outside the US, mainly China. And since most seek profit, that doesn't look like It will happen.

And one last thing, I know Obama got bashed for spending stupid money on "going green". Maybe he should been a bit more concervitive with the money, but he is leading the nation in the right path.Big Oil & PG&E companies don't want us to have solar panels on our roofs that will make us less dependent on their energy.

But looks like we will soon be charging our electic cars at Home via solar panels, while spending little money out of oh pockets....

This year's race for the White House will be historic, as I see it either one can win.

People should answer your question as well as; do people dislike Obama because he's black? Are people threatened by a minority taking the position that's been rich white male driven? I know most people won't answer that truthfully. I know a lot of people who vote for Obama for all the wrong reason but most because he seems to want to help.
