I have a set of polished CCW Classics on my car, I'm thinking of powder coating them gold, it's on a black new edge.

Here's a pic of gold CCWs on a black car to give you guys an idea.

and another one to join my plan to take over the car game with bronze/gold wheels! welcome to the club bro DO IT!

It depends on how the rest of the car looks. Your car has to look aggressive to match the wheels. It needs to have an aggressive stance, nice brakes, clean body, and fat tires to complete the look.

Otherwise it will just look like a mustang whose owner saw gold wheels on a race car and wanted the same wheels for his stock DD. It won't match well.

It's your car so hey to each his own my personal take is you will get tired of it quick.

if done correctly it will work. if the stance isnt right, then the wheels will look like shit no matter how much they're worth [Wink]

After I get my motor in the car I'm gonna see how it sits if I don't like the stance I'm gonna go with Eibach Sportlines.

How's those iPads working for you btw?

esassin - My car looks pretty aggressive, has 03-04 cobra front/rear bumpers, 03 cobra hood, and 03 cobra brakes. and it's FAR from a stock DD. lol

Half the people said yes and half said no so I'll be the decision breaker, has anyone gone with gold wheels and regretted it?

the less wheel gap, the better its gonna look. heres a gold on white and he managed to pull it off. i think black and gold can look just as good.
