It's crazy how you never know what's going to happen,and for a cause of a unintentional accident you can go to jail for the rest of your life.my prayers for all the families.

Was just down the road dropping some parts off from there when it happened. People everywhere on the freeway, very sad there was a loss of life, especially a toddler.

Sad. Most likely, unless they can prove gross negligence, dude will probably get charged with manslaughter. Usually you don't get more than 6-8 years per count. With no priors, I'd be surprised if the guy spends more than a year behind bars.

My wife had a friend who was convicted on manslaughter charges for killing 3 people (she was DUI with a prior DUI) and got 6 years per person killed served concurrently. I think she spent a total of 3 years behind bars.

It's crazy cuz your wake up not expecting things like that to happen to you in life, but life is crazy and you never know what you can get yourself into between a blink of an eye.
