The car was repainted, its BMW jade Green cant remember the year of the color though.

Sold it to a guy in Fairfield and along the lines somewhere the car was stolen, underhood fire, blew up motor and then bought out of a tow yard in sac with now a salvage title by someone here in vallejo.

Current owner is friends with a few folks on the board.

the other two cars in the pic under the covers are my parents 84 5.0 GT and to the right is the 68 cougar I had when I first started out.

Yeh I keep telling him to repaint it that same color but I think he is going a tab bit brighter.an if I had another coupe ill do that color or smoked grey with black trim.

he prob thought how they got it, it came strait from u right before. i remember lookin at the car in aleros garage, and it took me 15 minutes before i even recognized it was your old car. alot had changed or touched sense u had it.

Ok what u had in it then?

That car had a holley manifold,30lb injectors,C&l mass, bbk CAI, 75mm TB, Z303 cam, 1.7rr, TFS 170/ 58cc heads,hyper pistons which made it 9:8:1 ish, BBK long tubes then full 3" exhaust with an x. T5Z tranny pro 5.0 shifter, rear end was just a stock 8.8 with 3:73's and a posi rebuild with a girdle cover. had sportline springs and rear bbk upper and lower arms, koni yellows and inside the car I had some gauges and flo-fit seats with some beat. pretty much sums it up.

BTW Jerm who (airformance707) also rode in the car for a quick sec too, when I had it he can vouch,cant remember if slow back every got a ride.

Auto tek?
I think alot of the receipts had autotek on it. shortly after I got it,there was a vaccum leak & I found a huge crack in the intake and thats what prompted a re-vamp of the upper end intake,injectors,tb. either way when I sold it, I was sad to see it go, Really liked the car!

You know the previous owners? if so they were building an early lightning at the time with AFR's etc, how'd it turn out?

Chris from auto tek built the car, he built a lot of budget 5.0 that were pretty quick for what they were back in the day , he ran a Datsun 280 with a small block that ran 10s . I don't know the owner of the coupe, but I'm sure I can ask chris and find out who owned it .Chris is now just doing smogs and no longer wrenching on customer cars.
