Going out to Atlanta for work next week and wondering what it's like out there. From what iv'e read and weather.com looks like the weather is crap!! 91* and thunder storms!! Hopefully theres some good food and something to do while im not at work! Anyone been?

Its pretty cool.... Its been about 5 years since ive been. I used to live about 2 hours away ( Birmingham, Alabama).. There is a lot of southern food restraunts. Some people say its a mini New York...

I used to live close to there in Montgomery Alabama....

Pretty cool town but not nearly the amount of shit to do as here.

im in beaufort, south carolina thats 3 hours from atlanta
the weather here has been in the low to high 90s every single day since I've been here (july 9th) and its rained basically every day
you get sweaty by just sitting down outside

I'm going to atlanta tonight i'll be there until sunday evening so if i find anything interesting to do i'll let you know

Waffle house. Lol the weather is crazy I went there early july we were all in summer clothes just walking arround in downtown and all of a sudden it started pouring but good food out there

I used to live in beaufort SC...I would hangout in savannah GA a lot, One of my favorite places!. Good food everywhere!

strip club heaven....atl has some good food spots...alot of history in the city. cool place to visit but couldn't live there. way to country and the weather is crazy

I keep hearing about all the stip joints! haha thats almost the first thing people tell me. Im glad to hear they have good food! Sounds like it's pretty nice out there, im looking forward to the trip

ATL.....it humid!!!! can feel really hot.
Nothin spectacular to get into.
Waffle House restaurants everywhere..... I didnt eat there tho. There are plenty of places for great food and real sweet tea... Lol [patriot]

what are some good places in savanna?

i spent my weekend in gainesville and flowery branch GA
all i did was eat, drink and i went to the mall
there really doesn't look like theres much to do around there

Down on bay street I think it's called! It's the old historic part with all the so called haunted bars/ places to eat! When I partied down there, crazy amounts of GA women everywhere. Saint Patricks day is insane there too!

Made it out here a few hours ago, super hot as shit and humid!!! But already had some good food! Wasn't no southern food but had a good ass chicken burger at a spot that had 103 beers on tap and 100 beers bottled!! Really good spot!
