You cant see it, but the original pic has two huge squares (the obvious big one that surrounds all the squares, and another tiny outline surrounding that) you cant see it here because its a white line...so out the gates 2 huge, 9 large, 18 mediums, 8 tiny...37 is what i see

3 x 3 box = 4
4 x 4 box = 1

30 boxes

Two small squres
2 x 2 = 2
1 x 1 = 8
-------------

There are a total of 40 squares...I think
