I feel bad for everyone that was involved in this crazy mans assault on an innocent crowd

I watched the video and being a gun guy and knowing the trigger scare tactic words........ They where planting that seed into mainstream media
Reporter 1, " He had an AR-15/ Assault style rifle, two Glocks and a shotgun. The Assault rifle can carry up to 30 rounds, so this man was able to fire multiple rounds very quickly."

Reporter 2, " 30 rounds that can be fired at incredible speeds?"

Reporter 1, " Yes that is correct."


I hate when The News makes it a point to help the government plant these thoughts into the American people's minds....... But it's the guns fault right? Not the crazy guy who shot up the place.

If guns were legal to carry around anywhere u go in California then he either wouldn't have tried this or somebody would've stopped him from hurting so many.there's no arguing with that

It happened in Colorado but you do have a point, in Colorado you can carry a gun BUT the State gave businesses the right to ban guns and this Theatre had a gun ban in effect. No guns on the premises.

Very sad and horrific incident. This guy is a freaking psycopath - I wonder if he was on some sort of prozac type drug. How do you just go from a PhD student to snapping like that? Apparently he's only had a traffic ticket on his record.

Now, what I want to know is this: what kind of a mother are you, bringing your 3 month old baby to a midnight showing? Or even the 6 year old?

Some people can't get a babysitter and know their baby would sleep or something and be good. We shouldn't be questioning how they want to raise their kid they did nothing wrong here

I also want to know at what point did this dude think doing this was ok. It's weird to read stories about these good people snapping and killing people. Why did they think that was ok? I want to know is it something that just happens, are we all physcos that can snap and think going into a movie theatre or your place of work and shoot people is ok?

First off, may all of the Colorado victims rest in peace and my thoughts are with the injured people.

Can you imagine if a lot of people in that DARK SMOKE filled room started to discharge a fire arm? In all of the confusion, how would one know who the bad guy was? in that DARK SMOKE filled room where all hell is breaking loose, if more than one person would have started shooting, people would get even more crazy and accidentally shoot at each other because in all of the confusion, figuring out who the bad guy is would be hard.

If there were multiple shooters, the police at the theater would have a hard time figuring out who the criminal is if every one and their mom were firing at each other in a DARK SMOKE filled room.
