^ So if Mars has a very large amount of C02 in their atmosphere, how come the planet isn't hot as hell? I thought C02 was suppost to cause our planet Earth to get hotter....

Global warming is real. The Earth has gone through several periods of cooling and warming. There have been at least 5 major "ice age" periods in the Earth's history. The real debate is more about are humans the main cause of the current warming trend? I doubt we are. I mean, let's not forget scientists tell us it was hotter than hell during the time of the dinosaurs... Maybe the Earth is just trying to get back to that temp.

If you get cancer are you just going to shrug your shoulders and say, "oh well, that's a naturally occurring phenomenon" and not do anything about it? Nope, you trust your life to scientists who were PAID to study it and hopefully they can stop it.

Same goes for global warming, doesn't matter how it happens, if there's something that can be done to stop or slow it down, shouldn't we try?

All I know is that I could play outside in the 1970s all day long without a drop of sunscreen and my butt-pale skin wouldn't change color at all. Now, my kid can't go outside for 30 min without getting red.

I think global warming is real but we as a human race haven't been around very long so who's to say this hasn't been happening for a long time. We as a people are shitting bricks just because we see a lot happening while we are alive. I mean if you only get see bad your gonna think its always bad but if you see a mixture of bad and good then you know that both coexist and cancel eachother out

CA DMV reports that is has more registered car in it's state than other state's human population. Just think about cars in Ca, and how much they pollute. They are driven everyday, by many people to work while some pollute more than others. Now think about the rest of the nation, then North America, South American, then the rest of the world. Which have little effort to control pollution emitted by their vehicles.

Do you reall thing think that this is not affecting our environment?

If you look back at the earth it was once a black of ice..lol of course it's real..but not in the way they are making it seem..jus natural evolution of the earth..

We the human race have been on the planet a spec compared to Earths history. There is no way CO2 from cars has made the world hotter. It's only a matter of time before we are all taken out. Just like every other group of creatures that have lived on this planet....... A billion years ago LOL.

That's part of the problem. The amount of CO2 released from burning fuels over the last say 150 years is huge. The affect of big changes to the atmosphere over a short period of time is not well understood and why there's a lot of debate on what might happen. Historically, big changes over a very short time has not been a good thing.

Global Warming is very much real, true it's probably just part of a natural cycle but the thing is most likely were speeding up the crap out of that cycle..

there are reports of the ocean level rising and north/south poles melting and having gigantic glaciers breaking off...only warming of the planet could cause that...
