I got mine yesterday and my teeth have been in pain ever since and im wondering how long this will last....

They will hurt as long as they continue to move. With every Stage they will hurt, you will get used to it afte a while.

I've been wearing mine for 3 months now. It only hurts a little when you put in the new aligners, you get used to them.

When first being introduced to invisalign they'll feel very uncomfortable for the first week. I've had mine for 5 months. Every other set they will slowly shift and be less painful (first 3 days of each new set).

I'm also considering invisalign can someone give me pros and cons? I'd really appreciate that [patriot]

You will feel pain after each adjustment or new piece. that's normal. Take some motrin it helps.

My teeth were so messed up, when I had braces they had to use wire to secure the main wire to the braces on a few teeth instead of rubberbands. That really hurts!

I think its the best investment for yourself..not too many cons other than what I mentioned in my previous post. I'm happy so far and was excited to finally get them. Love how people can't notice them unless I say something

I paid $3500 for mine
$1000 down and $150/mo. For a year and half

Some places will even let you break the down payment in half.

That's good coverage..its rare for companies to have ortho in their insurance plan..most are just medical and dental

I ended up paying close to 4K since my insurance doesn't cover orthodontics. I do remember every new stage they would hurt for a few days but then you would get used to it. It was great that no one knew I had braces which helps if you're self conscious. The other thing is it taught me to be very clean and meticulous with my teeth. You will pretty much have to floss and brush after every meal or snack since you're teeth are inside the Invisalign trays at all times except when you eat.

Ewww...I now have tooth brushes and paste almost everywhere.. Feels disgusting to just rinse it after drinking or eating anything. I brush them EVERYTIME I eat or drink. If I go to restaurants I take my kit with me and just brush up in the restroom. I think I'm losing weight due to not being able to snack or drink anything. I rather not eat stuff cuz I dont want to brush my teeth 20x a day

I paid $2900 plus 10% off since I paid cash. If anyone is interested let me know..this place charges less than 3k. Funny thing is I found it thru groupon ftw

I brush everytime I eat or drink..I won't put them back in until I do so..sorry I used the word rinse..thought people would get the genera idea you gotta clean your mouth/teeth before putting them back in

Does invisaline have any effect on the color of your teeth during the course? or can you use any whitening products along with it?
