I'm not sticking up for the F-Body, but this is not a fair comparison, just like comparing the 4th gen F body to the old technology Fox body. In this vid, they are comparing a 320hp car to a 400hp car & both weigh around the same.

Chevy's LS3 motor in stock trim is a much better comparison to the 2011+ GT, but too bad for GM the 5th gen camaro is a heavy, ugly, pile of shit. The new 5.0 shits on the current Camaro in every category IMO...

Both cars are nice, I would own a ws6 before a 5.0 because it is slightly more affordable to me. But if I had the cash i would pick a 5.0 up.

I don't know what the problem is in the comments, those guys are retarded. Everyone seems to forget how heavy that pig is. But who cares honestly, jesus christ. The people who bitch about GM people are the same crybabys.

But it's ok to compare the 325hp+ car to a 215hp fox? the ls1 got shit on! That simple! ws6 was even a 6 speed, and the heavier mustang was a bone stock auto. it was more than 325hp ws6 also. lid + cut out. easy 25whp+ just like all ls1 owners can't drive good enough to do digs with your so called "Superior" suspension car, call for some rollies. haha [Big Grin]

LOL... Not gonna get back into this debate, but if you look back at the old threads, I wasn't the one comparing the 80's tech Fox to the 4th Gen F body. I compared Mustangs from the same time period that were supposed to match up to the F body like the 99-04 GT, 03/04 Mach 1, & the 99/01 Cobra.

I agree 110%... Current Camaro's, although they have a nice drivetrain, everything else surrounding them don't do it for me, not to mention they are WAY too heavy & ugly as shit!

Seriously? Shit on, alright. Yeah right. From a roll it's obvious which car is faster. From a dig the auto has the fucken advantage to someone who isnt as skilled as you.
