In the process of one of my builds right now. These people are a joke. Ca has the highest crime yet compared to all states and we are one of the few that can not bare arms .. Ridiculous

Remember a few years ago, when they initially banned "assault weapons" as defined by detachable mag, pistol grip, length, etc - what I'm wondering is if they are successful in 'closing' this bullet-button loophole, will it be retroactive in that all ARs equipped with bullet-buttons - regardless of date of install - will now become illegal

Or, will it be another pre-/post-ban situation?

The worst part of all this , is you would be surprised to see how many "NEW gun owners" people who are new to owning A fire arm dont even know about the laws and B.S. like this that is trying to be passed. I've talked to alot of new enthusiast at the range who just went and picked up a new AR and they arent well informed.

On another note, Since the bullet button was never really "Legal" as they say even though it complied with law, or since it was a "gray area" what happens to those of us who have BB equipped stuff? do we get grandfathered in or do we get the almighty political cock ram?
