I've had a lot of cars/trucks but the only one I miss is the first truck I bought myself when I was 17.
it looked just like that except with no pinstripes.
XL, vinyl bench, vinyl floor, no headliner (metal roof), manual locks/windows/mirrors. 5-speed manual, 2wd.
I don't know why, but that truck was just perfect. Until I blew up the transmission at LACR drag racing, it spat the driveshaft out when I launched it
Never see that body style in dark blue, wish I kept it but I'm happier with my current truck.

My old 2000 S10 Xtreme. I loved it, then I HATED it. It was a lemon if Chevy was a fruit tree.
I bought it brand new. Owned it 1 year. Actually just under a year. Trans lost 3rd gear (3) times, had Electrical problem, ECU shorted and died, It hydroplaned on 580 across 3 lanes smacking a dirt mound in shoulder passed Strobridge, then its finally the Y-pipe broke came back into the fuel tank and ya. There's nothing left. This is what it used to look like.

Lol that is a surprise! And the vert u traded him went to a guy on this forum! Forget his name on here but he put a new gt40 crate motor, interior and raised it back up some. Think different wheels too! Dont think he posts much on here anymore. That car was ridiculous. I used to take out reflectors off the road with the k member on that car!! Haha

i had an 02 gmc sonoma with the ZQ8 susp package (gmc extreme) and i also hydroplaned as i was going over standing water because i was using my cruise control and i guess as i drove over the puddle, the tire spun slower and the truck was tricked to speed up, then i lost it into the guardrail...damn i was pissed. those are awesome trucks

Couldnt find pics, but my first 86 mazda b2000. Put that truck through hell and back, was a 2wd that I decided to go 4wd.
My first Ford, 65 coupe. Started out as a 6cyl, coverted to 8. all that was needed was paint and body, but funds ran out and bills were adding up.

I was not the original owner and the guy you are talking about is Stan. He did move to Seattle and I bought the car off of him and trailered it home to Cali. Engine went shortly after I bought it and I redid the internals. Great track car but was I was a poor college kid who couldn't afford to put track time on it. Wish I had it back now!

I may miss this one a tad bit.... It was the cleanest, most pristine car I've ever owned, & was probably one of the cleanest Mach's in the country... I bought it bone stock & when when it was finished it was truly my unique vision of how a Mach 1 should be done (minus the Whipple setup)..... BUT, I would rather enjoy driving a car, not admire it sitting in the garage 99.9% of the time.... That being said, I had to let her go!!!
Not too shabby for a car with just exhaust, intake, tune, & rock hard road race suspension!
