The mustang game is expensive, i just got back in the game and been spending a lot (not mad at all). Im not flat broke but i have been spending like crazy on it. My pops thinks im wasting money but i told him its a hobby just like gardening ( lady across the street stays gardening and was out so i thought it was a good example) and said she spends alot on that haha. he had nothing to say after i explained to him that its a hobby.

Well yeah I have been broke from fixing up a stang, but not struggling broke haha. My dad and girlfriend does give me crap about spending money but I just tell them its something I enjoy. Cars are the new gardening

I never usually go crazy. I feel its better to take it easy and do it alittle at a time. That way itll keep it from getting bored of the car

I recently learned that myself. i wasnt modding it then i put it up forsale. i did a few mods here and there and fell in love with it all over again.

ive been slowly putting a coupe together and im like 4.5-5k to getting it where i want ,id have it finished but i purchased a cobra like a noob.i have motor sitting complete and trans ready to go ,just need a rearend built and misc stuff and some labor and that should be 4.5-5 im hoping..dont think ill have money to paint it but the paint is ok ...so i guess im broke

I actually can't say I'm broke cause I take my time to put everything together n I do it lil by lil but always try to put more aside n take my time sometimes it sucks cause u see ppl getting faster n you want to blow hella money on it but don't have that luxury have a son n rent to take care of before pleasures but must say it feels good to know I can still dump money on my bitch but will just take longer than usual to get it where I want but I love this hobby have owned a sport car since I was 16 n have never been without one since

$5k spent in this last Month alone to get it running for knotts..that's about 1/8 of what I have invested already..not going broke but definitely an expensive hobby

I was one to dupb my heart and wallet in to the stang... Once I realized I wasn't making it to Knotts I stopped the spending.. Shell be done a month after so no rush..

Def not broke...

I have a certain amount of cash saved in my bank N lets say that money has not gone up or down so umm yeah kinda dump a shitload of money into my car.

broke? irresponsible? hell yes, spend my welfare check each month on mods. even though pockets are dry, hey at least i have a bad ass car

kidding aside, gone through modding nearly every single of the 9 stangs ive had and learned overtime to not spend beyond my means. last several projects ran about(including car). 92 fobra ~$10k, 94 faleen ~$18k, 97 termy fobra 30-35k+ but i budgeted wisely for each car and used cold hard cash to fund all of these projects
remember, if you're using cards to fund your hobby and running monthly credit card balances paying interewst, perhaps its time to re-evaluate your priorities and decide if you might be spending irresponsibly on your toys.
dont let stupid spending break you!

frist i need to finsh my 76 chevy truck have about 1500 or so to spend on the that.then the boss block is going to be a 327 or 331 with r heads an bottle hope to aleast to run 10,s on motors an nines on the bottle.

since aug i have spent 12k on my truck that is also buying it too.but i buget 14 for my truck an 10k for the mustang.

I put every penny earned in to my 94 Mustang that end up stolen, recovered, and dropped 1,800 to get it running. After the thieves lefts it un-drivable on the side of the road. then sold it for 6k and lost plenty of money.thanks to this bull shit economy.

Could have saved and bought a F40...LoL

Minus getting your shit stolen; there no other place I rather be throwing my money away, than in an automobile(n strippers)
