My friend has an 87 GT vert and is looking to put the LX tail lights on it. I see several options just on americanmuscle.com and this is is by far the cheapest:

Does anyone know if this is a direct bolt on? It looks slightly different from the other LX tail lights and does list it's for LXs only. But I think the angle and quality of the photo is throwing me off. Can anyone verify? TIA

one of the customer pics for that product has the lights on a GT....pretty sure it will fit any fox, no modding at all

They don't bolt in , pry the old ones off with your hands and push on the new lx ones that easy should take less then one min

doh! didnt see its just lenses, my bad...use gorilla glue to keep it in there...it seems thieves go after LX lights, happened to me.

Thanks guys. So the lenses come out and it's a direct replacement, it seems. I think one of his plastic (lenses?) is cracked or chipped so I'm not sure if he'll need the new entire set or if he can get away with just the lenses.

I don't think he'd go with smoked though - looking for the stock LX light look.
