I picked up this coupe off a member here for a good price , but it is defenetly a project. It runs good, its all stock with an AOD. When i got it, it needed Windshield , water pump , radiator , temp switch , smog and reg. and a fuel sending unit. Its been a good daily driver since i fixed all that. it just looks terrible and is super slow! haha. I have a whole bunch of parts sitting in the basement ( semi-built motor , tranny , cobra brakes , black int etc) that i will eventually put into it. But for now i just wanna finish the bodywork , get it painted and install some headers and mufflers. Oh and a 5-speed conversion and get the a/c going. I wanted to make a thread to document the progress so here it is.
Here are some pictures so you guys can see how raggetty it looks right now haha

Got the stock radio and EQ still!.. Slap!

It was all one color when i got it. I replaced the door because there so cheap so it wasn't worth my time to try and do the body work on the old door. I started the body work on the drivers 1/4 panel thats why it in primer with guide coat and ive been collecting the trim it was missing from junkyards in all kinds of colors!! haha cant never find black!

Cool man, Congrats ! I love these kinda of build threads, it's really cool to see a car progress from an ugly duckling to a Gem. Keep the Beige interior, it looks good. I had the same color interior in my 87 coupe.
Keep us updated, will look forward to seeing it as it progresses.
