That was a terrible fight....lol. My matches look better than that. He is too muscular for boxing at this point, kinda reminds me of Jeff Lacy. Also his footwork is terrible. He needs a Emmanuel Steward level trainer to get him right. The reason I always felt he wait suited for boxing vs MMA, is his punches are pretty accurate, with good natural form and he does not take his eye off his target while punching. But I think his ship has sailed. He is only good for a freak show now. Had he got scooped up earlier, maybe he could have made noise in boxing.

Kimbo ain't honna go far in boxing. He was losing that fight and suspiciously his opponent gets Ko Ed by a faint uppercut in the last seconds of the fight

Dude is like 38 years old "supposedly" i think he is over 40. At this point in the game, no amount of training is gonna make him any better then what he is.

Not entirely true. Hell I am 38 and still box. Granted not on that level. But I am sure I could beat Brian Green....lol. But if Emmanuel and Golden Boy invested in me, I think I could get a piece of the Cruiserweight crown. It would all be in his work ethic. He has not sustained a lot of damage in his fight career. So with the right work ethic he could peel back a few years and be a young 38 (read 34-35). But he is just filled with too much dense muscle tissue.

Not to talk shit N8, but are you a professional boxer? It's a big difference jumping from the amateur "club fighter circuit" to professional levels. You "might" be able to win the " WBC San Jaouquin Valley cruiserweight" title if you pay Jose Sulliman to make up a belt for you. But your not a world class quality boxer. You can't train "part time" and expect to be a champ. It's a 24-7 commitment. Sure you might be able to tweak a few things with a hall of fame trainer but you are only blessed with so much talent...

I agree with you. And technically I am a pro/master boxer, because amateurs stop at 35. But I do agree with you. I am definitely not on that level. And your especially right on the last sentence. He has some natural abilities though. Even from his backyard boxing days. His punches were thrown correctly and with balance. Of course I am assuming he was never taught that formally.

I used to box and kickbox and let me tell you to be really good its like anything you have to commit to it.

I dabbled in it for 12 years or so like everyone else seems to..... Not famous but I know it takes tons of hard work, talent and determination to make it.
