I am a Saints fan and a NOLA native, but even further I am a athlete. And this is a pretty shameful act. Yes football is a contact sport and brutal at times. But targeting folks for injury or encouraging targeting folks for injury outside the scope of the game is disgusting. Ban for life, I say.

Either way I think this whole thing has been blown up. I am not for " intentionally hurting an opposing player " But guys ARE running full speed at each other trying to knock the ball out for a fumble or incomplete pass. The game isn't the same as it once was.......... It's a catch 22 IMHO.

They mentioned "bounties" in a manner that suggest monetary gain for knocking players out the game. I agree though, a coaching telling a player "knock his d*ck in the dirt" is part of the game. But trying to put a end to a persons livelihood in a way that is not consistant with the game is a lil diff.

if your still injured on whatever body part it is then dont get on the field , believe me , coach or not , players will be Aiming for it . Just like boxing , You see dude getting cut under the eye , they just keep hitting at it . Football is not the same anymore
