Sat in a sl 550 today and the seats were so boss but they are Mercedes power sport seats. I googled them but I can't buy em from Mercedes I want ones just like em. Which aftermarket ones are the best? The thing I liked the most was the sides held you in and it was arched nice like your ass was in a seat not sittin down. Lol

So first off are you planning on buying the car? Do you want similar seats like that for another car just tryin to get a better understanding about your question. Is it for a stang? I would check out recaro, corbeau, sparco seats etc. they all have a good snugg feel to them. It also boils down if your going to be DD you car I'd get a feel for a few some might seem comfortable in the beginning but once you sit in them for like a week straight you might get the real feel of them. Those are a few things you have to take into consideration. Good luck with your search. [patriot]

The Recaro Expert S seat would have the feel you're talking about, and is available in leather.

The Cobra Le Mans seat is similar in design, available in vinyl, cloth, and leather, as well as combination of fabrics (leather sides and cloth center, etc etc) and is fairly cheap.

The Corbeau Sport is similar in design, available in cloth and/or vinyl, and cheaper.

The Corbeau GTS II is also similar in design, available in cloth, leather, suede, and combos like Leather/suede etc etc, and still fairly cheap.

Not much from Sparco has a similar design to the Mercedes Sport seats.

The higher end Recaro's are available with most of the features a Mercedes seat can have.

Power adjustable height and tilt
adjustable head rest
OEM-style dual manual seat back release
power adjustable seat back
power adjustable lumbar support
manual extendable seat cushion length
power adjustable back & thigh bolsters

you can even have them equipped with seat heaters or ventilation for air conditioning...
