I wanted to redo my tails with just the vinyl instead of the spray so I went to ebay and picked up the $11 kit:

goes on super easy, and I cut out the section for the reverse lights because it looks better to me.

thanks guys, and NF..yeah it is. It's basically the same as window tint. you apply with soapy water and smooth/dry it out with the squeegee and when it dries you have the finished product. If you get bored, take it off.

the vinyl holds up great i had the same stuff on my 2002 gt for over a year and half they they started to dry out so i took the vinyl off and sprayed them i got mine for 20 at the time.

yeah buddy. the previous owner painted the tails but it looked like more of a flat black, I like the glossy look more.

no sir, it said not to either. When the water between the vinyl and the light dries up it makes a pretty solid adhesive.
