They continue to be the Farm team for the NBA. Watch the playoffs this year. There is almost 1 ex Warrior on every team.

Not a bad trade for the future. The Curry/Monta backcourt experiment is a complete failure. We had a few years with Monta at the helm and it's obvious we are not going anywhere with him. He is explosive, can create his own shot and was able guard the 1 but his skillset is something we don't have already.

I'm sad to see Udoh go but we are already invested in David Lee. I hope he does well and can further develop his game.

K. Brown is a wash.

Trading a small for a big is usually an upgrade on it's own. We desperately needed a legit C and we now have one. I just hope he can stay healthy because when he plays he is easily a double-double guy.

SJack contrats sucks but he will be an expiring.

With Curry's ongoing ankle issues (we bench him) and Bogut out we go into tanking mode. If it all pans out we get a #1-#7 pick, a healthy Curry, a healthy Bogut, and more expirings. We will have the best opportunity to land a superstar buy having all the correct pieces in place. Marc Jackson will finally have a team that he can build and coach to his style.

We couldn't build around Monta and the best we could was a win in the 1st round playoffs.

+ 1

Monta is very explosive, but as N8 stated, he's a streaky shooter. The guy can score but fails to make his teammates better. Wish they could of kept Udoh... You can never have too many big guys.

What the Warriors need is championship players. Call up Adam Morrison. He has more rings then the whole team combined [Big Grin]

I think Ellis needed to go...he's good but wasn't the team player that the warriors need.

I just wish Udoh wasn't part of the deal... and to bring Stack Jack?! SMH

Look how well the ball distribution was during last nights game?! It wasn't just Ellis throwing up shots and doing all the scoring AND they held the lead the entire game!

Let's see how they do against Boston tonight.

monta was here 7 yrs warriors never did anything the backcourt was way to small good move boguts a tough sob on the inside.now udoh i don't like letting him go he was good.Klay thompsons waiting in the wings and brandon rush is good.Only thing that bothers me is 2 white guys in the frontcourt no athleticism.

What good is averaging 21ppg if you are routinely drug all over the court on defense. Monta = No D and in the back court if you cant defend you are pretty much useless. He kinda reminds me of Rondo. Good player, but is a system player. Wont make people better around him. But will fit in the perfect system should he happen upon one.

i dont like the move but thinking about it i do . david lee will go back to 20/10 with a real center like bogut helping. his allstart yr he really played the 4 spot and abused the other 4's having the strength to already play against all the big men at the 5 spot. and combine bogut and cap't jacks numbers and they are better than monte's plus monte was all about him self not for the team at all. as long as jackson has a good attitude it should work for them also if bogut stays healthy hes a 14/9 or 10 board guy with solid d albeit not shoot blocking d. thompson will also step up in scoring now with out monte too.
