I say just get another motor with lower miles and swap it yourself

Posted by MACK.GT (Member # 10461) on :

$600-$800 in labor plus parts, and fresh fluids. (Probably) would have too see first

Find a used motor do the swap yourself or find a member here to do it with you for a good deal and be happy... O and go grab some headers while the motors out to save yourself money in the future

okay didn't know it would cost the same as an engine swap.

yeah that might work out better, but I know the history of this block and i won't with a used one. I'd rather be safe and freshen up the heads that way I know exactly what everything has been through. Already got bbk long tubes installed [patriot]

I don't know if I missed something but have you done a leak down test to confirm its just the heads? Always good to check juuust in case

Engine swap is easier.
