So slight problem. My valves need to be adjusted since I have a solid roller I need new sparkplugs the ones I have now are to close to the headers so he's going to get shorter ones. I also need to get my intake on right I guess it's missing a stud who h it was. And the power steering bracket I had on there since I had the ac delete is an awful one. So he's buying a new one and putting it on there. Also the timing belt is put on crooked and the distributor isnt lined up properly. There was more but I forgot ima stop by tomorrow

So not tuned today will be shortly however within a couple weeks he kept it at his shop

I'm impressed by your candor, most of us on cafords would never divulge anything that would tarnish our car savvy. Hope
everything gets ironed out.

to top it off it's on crooked? didn't know you could do that with a timing chain. [Eek!]

Lol, this shop sees your lack of knowledge, and it's taking advantage of that by making up as many issues as you'd believe could be wrong with your motor and screwing ya over accordingly.. Lol that sux.

Unless he ponied up the cash for a jesel belt drive! I cought it but didn't say anything cause he may have one. We never seen his motor! If I had, I would have told him all that stuff wouldn't fly going to the dyno!

Sometimes going to a dyno to get tuned u do run into issues though, last fox I took in we ran into a problem with bad grounding! The battery relocated in trunk and chassis ground was not cutting it, ran a sold wire all the way from battery to motor and tuned great!! Car ran great before and after but was causing issue with tune! Go figure, stuff happens when u don't expect it sometimes!

Oh and it would have to have a jesel belt drive to see the belt on wring! If it had a chain u could not tell through a solid timing cover anyway! So I sure hope he ain't that car-dumb! Lol sorry for putting it that way but the truth if so!

That's pretty much what it sounds like. Alot of shops are notorious for doing that.

Dude calm down, learn how to take a little constructive criticism. Were all here for ya pal even if we talk shit don't take it so personal or we'll have to call the whambulamce for you. [Big Grin] Nah but on a different note you should have had those issues takin care of before you decided to dyno because now it sounds like you're having quite the headache.

calm down man. they are saying that because mustangs dont have timing belts. they have timing chains.
So the shop is replacing your accessory belt?

And about your ignition. you need to get a msd ignition box and distributor. stock ones are gonna rob your power also

so you typed the wrong shit in your post. then when the guys with some knowledge start picking it apart, you get mad and try to talk shit on them.. haha stop it. you need to do one of these things.
a. learn to except that you typed in the wrong shit, and people are going to grill you over it.
b. you have no clue what you are talking about, and people are going to talk shit on you about it.

ps. if you find the people here annoying as fuck.. you can always just leave. [patriot]
