I know cobra is always the best and could get the most out of it motor wise but stock.. I was lookin at a 2002 roush 360r
That has 360hp and 375tq I know its a 2v and 5 speed which isn't as good as the 390hp and 380tq 4v and its 6speed cobra but roushs 360r "tested" fast then the cobra doing something like 4.3 0-60 and 12.4 1/4 which is faster the the cobras 4.8 0-60 and 12.8 1/4..
Any 1 ever look into that?
What do you guys have to say and what would you go with?

360R's are a badass car with low production numbers,but they are usually way more than your gonna pay for a 99/01 Cobra.And they have are definitely gonna be a Barrett Jackson type of collectible one day.It just depends on what your motives for buying are.

You're right...even though u see alot of cobras on forums and ford meets, you still rarely see them on the street at all so no they are not played out IMO. foxbody's and sn95 gt's are more played out if u look at it that way.

Exactly, I am not a Cobra snob lol and I love ALL mustangs from 64-13, my favorite is actually a 1994 Convertible, but every time I take my Cobra out I get at least one thumbs up or questions about it, definitely don't think it's played out.

Cobra has more power potential, better trans, and for me, would be daily drivable...

Roush has great power, handling, and brakes right from the start... great looks, and cool interior. Overall it's a good car if you don't plan on wanting like 500rwhp+. It's lower production numbers could make it more collectible or desirable some day... only time will tell... For me, the Roush would be garaged and driven to shows and cruises...

Stock to stock, the Roush will keep up in a straight line, but should still lose. It would be a drivers race. Handling wise, the Roush would run circles around a stock Cobra... and should be able to out-brake a Cobra too... The Roush/Alcon brakes are amazing.
