It wasn't like the guy was trying to do anything illegal, just looking for guidance.. in his picture it showed a huge drop in HC between 15 and 25, this is a tell tale sign of a tech not warming up the vehicle enough before testing the vehicle, as the last poster said.

This site promotes (for lack of a better word) performance upgrades on fords. And considering the word "california" is in the title of the website, passing smog with mods SHOULD be a huge topic. I don't think the OP car was modded just by looking at the numbers but I'm just saying (and I'm a smog tech). Looking for illegal smog is one thing, but looking for reasons as to why the car failed is a completely different situation.

Admins/moderators are not stupid or ignorant. Their posts support that statement. So I'm asking why they closed the discussion?

Face palm. Wowww. Didn't even think of that. I see quite a bit of tech related topics in the general area, so I guess I figured the admins were lenient on that, compared to other sites. Thanks for clearing that up tho lol!
