I know I've heard alot of negative feedback about them sarcastically, but really are they a place to stay away from ?

I've heard the MAACO on Watt does decent work but that's if you spend a little more.

I have had one car painted at Earl sheib. Its comprable to Macco. As long as YOU do your prep job and know what your doing the paint will come out pretty clean. Make sure to sand around the windows real well.

Many people use to ask me where I got that car painted at. I told them it was a $300 paint job and people would trip. . Goof luck [patriot]

I got my ladys 5.0 painted at maaco in san jose on tully rd.
It was painted a maaco color "grape" and it turned out great.

We got the cheapest paint job it came out to like $700 but $1100 total to take off rust and bondo cover ups. i believe they charge you
+$200 for prep
+ $200 primer
and $299 for paint.

Theres no paint runs,
i needed more body work but didnt wanna pay for it so i told them to paint over.
Quick turn around
im definetly going back to paint my car for the price "best bang for your buck"

Now the bad
I told them specificly not to paint the upper black part of the door and they painted it.

Under the wing theres certain spots that are a little rough "not smooth" but painted fine.

I had a car painted the about seven years ago and I lasted for five years and when I got rid of it the paint was still decent for what it is you can't complain...if you have different colored panels or you have dents that need to be repaired and don't have a few thousand for a good job I would use them or if it's a car that you don't plan on keeping...

I know someone at macco and thought it would be a good deal... 2800bux got me a scuff job, thin shit paint, dust nuggets and burned urethane mouldings.

the paint is so thin lo tac masking tape pulls their piss thin paint off.

look at the vendors section 90GTSleeper looks like he will do a bang up job for the buck.

right now I'm debating going to him or another guy I know but that's after I do the body work/prep I want done.

It was a serious question to junkyard but I'm pretty sure you felt good that you got a laugh...

Nah, the original cowl hood that it had flew off on the freeway due to the lack of hood pins.
