OK I JUS REBUILT MY MOTOR.306 SHORTBLOCK NEW DISHED PROBE PISTIONS ,NEW RINGS,NEW OIL PUMP ,NEW MAINS AN RODS,NEW STOCK CRANK BEEN BALANCED AT TEM MECHINE IN NAPA FROM RICH.F303 CAM EDELBROCK RPM HEADS RPM 2 INTAKE V2 10 LBS OF BOOST POWER PIPE 70M THROTTLE 90MM LIGHTING MASS AIR METER 42 LBS INJECTORS BBK LONGTUBES WITH MAC PROCHAMBER SLP STOCK PIPES 3.55'S IN THE REAR.EXCUSE MY GAMMER IF IM OFF A LITTLE BUT I WANA KNOW IF ANYBODY THINKS OR RAN THIS SET UP WHATS THE NUMBER I MIGHT OF MISSED SOME THINGS CORRECT OR ASK IF I AM.THANK [Eek!]

Which tuning software will you be running? a lightning maf with no tune and 42's will not run properly.

Exactly.... theres 600 Hp cars out there that can barely crack off a solid 12 sec quarter mile.

As for horsepower estimates though on said car . I would say anywhere from 380 to 430

Depends on the octane, numbers will be low 430-450 on 91 with low timing, on some race gas and 22-25 degrees of total timing, it would make some real numbers.

Well im runing a vortech v2 10 lbs of boost.with 42 injuectors i jus ordered a pro-M today so thats what im going to run.80mm.an as for how far i got on my motor im just waiting on the mass an i need a throttle an prime the motor an crank that bitch.so yeh im like a. hour from starting with the few bolt ups i said.an i looked on google of numbers on a dyno with someone runing the same setup as me the only difference was he had twisted wedged heads.he ran 490-511 on the dyno so yeh some of you guys are close. to what i was looking for but who knows until i hit the dyno huh...thanks alot you guys really i jus wanted to see what you guys had in mind.

Are h you actually gonna get the car dynoed soon cuz I hope it doesnt turn into one of those threads where someone asks "how much power?" And then one year later still no numbers. I like to see what peoples actual results turn out to be

Now that I think about it my boy's old LX had a V2 with Edelbrock heads. I don't remember the rest of the combo but it was a 302 car that put down exactly 505 hp to the wheels.

Are you still running the stock block?

Did you put any ARP hardware on it? ie: main studs, rod bolts, head studs, ect. or an engine girdle?

no this is not chino its quandoe with the old green an yellow now its black on black.an no its boreded over to 306 read my set up everything new.an yes im runing all arp blots everywhere an no girdle lee said no need for one im not pushin that much power.500 plus if i make that wont crack my block.

500rwhp on a stock block? ive seen plenty split at the low 400rwhp level.

Whats up Quan, Its Eric With the drop top and now the coupe.

I split my block at 456rwhp and 503tq with a girdle and ARP everywhere. But That Was After 2 years. So it Can happen at that power level, But it can also last. Ya never know

my plans after i finish it is to enjoy the summer an hit hot august nights an then i might sell it after that on ebay.never here people will talk the most bout your car on here they will find any little thing bout your car.but if nobody takes it after a while then i might keep it.but in the mean time im going to redue the inside new carpet cobra scanner put the police lights in it the lttle ones that you can bearly see.have jonnathan due my tourque boxes an subs in the floor.i redid my trunk nice an neat.do my seats in black leather.an thats about it.oh yeh have my light flicker like they use to when the police had it.but jus keep it simple nice an neat an new.im going to take real good care of it this time an not dog it like iuse to.but yeh thats about it tho.

i was just giving a word of caution. I didnt mean anything bad by it. i hope it lasts you many years, it doesnt do me any good, or make me feel any better when someone blows their stuff up. we're all in the same hobby.
