I was wondering if solid motor mounts would drop my motor down? I'm looking to lower the motor at least 1/2 inch but a 1" would be great. I don't really care if the car shakes a little more, It only gets driven on the weekends and at the track.
Thanks

you have solids on your fox bro? If so than the ride quality is basically the same from when I drove his car. Never even noticed it lol

There are different versions of solid motor mounts, I had the moroso ones and seemed to raise the motor, I remember someone made drop down motor mounts for 351s that might work

if you have equal legth headers, id watch for clearance issues..

yea i have solid motor mounts its different for me tho only becuase i have a 347 with a solid roller cam so the idle is huge and chunky the mounts dont absorb it basically thats the point of the no rubber so i feel the vibrations alot more girls love it too

I would but I have brand new oem mounts and it torques to the pass side pretty hard. I would'nt be surprised if I broke the drivers side mount already. I only have about 600 miles on them.
