Kind of, it's just that they're more affordable. Someone can easily buy a clean SN with mods for the price of what a beat fox would go for.

I think many are finally realizing that the odds are greater a fox will be stolen when compared to a SN95.... Still keep my SN95 under wraps...

If I was to own a sn95 it would have to be a modular 4v w/a 6speed . I loved reving up to 7k in SSF Svts black cobra . That car was solid !!!

I love sn95's. They are cheaply priced, all around better car than a fox, more smooth. After having 94+ mustangs since getting rid of my old 88gt, I could never go back to one because they feel so outdated and old. Its my opinion.

the only diff between a fox and an sn95 coupe is like 200lbs though? its a bit heavier but not a drastic diff...i know its a little slower but id take a 302 sn95 before a 99-04gt speed wise. [ January 08, 2012, 08:08 PM: Message edited by: a302juGRnuat ]

Sn95 for the win, I love my cobra its smooth sounds nice and looks sexy as fuck. My 66 mustang has the 5.0 and I get my fun from that, but u can't compare to the newer technology and I DD my cobra because of that. [ January 08, 2012, 08:28 PM: Message edited by: Chavez66 ]

High to Mid 12s is mild h/c/i even bolt-ons and good suspension territory ona fox,gt40 parts and still smogable,a TRUE h/c/i fox with ALL the goods and supporting mods is an easy low 12 high 11 second car,I've owned and built plenty myself,I give u credit tho your car runs hard and its drama to getta n/a 2v in 12 anything lol sorry 2v's unless boosted or sprayed just don't run [ January 08, 2012, 09:37 PM: Message edited by: SIC9250 ]

Yes there not much heavier but they do have alot more drama when it comes to tuning, the car not being a "dummy" car like a fox makes it difficult for the car to perform like a fox does with the same mods..and for performance wise a 2v mod for mod (bolt-ons) will serve an SN5.0 with both drivers knowing wtf is up that is lol just ask broke4.6 and me we got plentty of 2v vs sn5.0 mod for mod races and I always got beat on top end,u can't win withoout revs!!
Believe me I love sn95s I've had 2 that were nasty they just don't got it like a fox performance wise but overall yes the SN gets my vote for a more plush solid rig

Dont have nothing crazy done to get my car to get in the 12s. My car has stock non-ported 04 GT heads, small cams n full exhaust n gears. If I had those 2v trick flow heads and a stage 2 cam in my ride it would be in the 11s easy N/A.

I was reffering to bolt-ons,u had to do a head swap/cams and I'm sure u have a healthy induction setup (maf, intake,tb,plenum) to getta 12.8,yes with better heads and bigger cams it could go 11s but I don't think "easily" is a word that should be tossed around so lightly lol

lol and a plenum, throttle body, intake, pullies, Im sure its tuned too!!
Ive never seen 2v with stage 3 everything in the 11s....at that point its financially smart to replace that 2v with a 4v!! there's guys in the 11s with 4vs with just bolt ons lol just sayin!
Ive been through so many setups on 2v's NONE of them impressed me! lol
