Seems like a waste to only use 13 pounds of boost on a 3.4...

This customer plans to begin taking the car for a few open track events. Doesnt want alot of power, and the car is mostly his show piece. Car is immaculate inside and out. I was actually suprised when he called to have this work done. We've only done suspension mods to this car prior to blower. You can actually eat off the paint then way this guy stores this car.

Good looking car, hey I've asked this before but can someone tell me why the HP and TQ are always so wide apart on aftermarket blowers, ie from the factory it was allegedly 390hp and tq but when you put on a whipple or KB it always seem like hp and tq are between 50-100 apart from one another?

It is JR. On a stock motored cobra there is no way to get the 3.4 down to 13 lbs of boost. From the last time I researched it, the 3.4 with the biggest pulley whipple makes still pushes roughly 25 psi. Actually because it makes so much metco makes a under drive pulley to slow it down to around 20 psi. Nice catch JR I see my training has payed off [Big Grin]
