I want to get these wheels, but the tech at american muscle says that you CAN get the wheels, but it will require alot of modifications, not just rolling the fenders and flipping the quad shocks. What else will need to be modified for it to fit? Anybody bought these? What problems did you run into?

I have never bought these but I've seen quite a few foxes with a variety of 5 lug 17x10.5 rear wheels and according to them the only modification was to have the inner fenders rolled . I think AM just wants to cover their a**** in case people run into issues . The Pony R's look great , they have that sleeper look .

Im hoping no mods for me too lol and yea man these wheels are simple but still have a very clean look according to the photos submitted by buyers on the link...
This is what part of my hard earned tax refund is going towards.

Roll the fenders swap the quad shocks an beat the inner wheel wells with a hammer to make them fit

I have them on my 93 Coupe and I didn't have to roll the fenders, but I dont know about the quad shocks, I don't use them.

Hey lee, those are the centercaps i want instead of the ones they have pictured in the link. So, the chrome 16" pony centercaps will fit the Pony R's?
Reason is i dont like the emblem on the Pony R caps, i want it to look like the factory pony emblem...
and i must say, that notch looks bad ass with those on, DAMN!

also, i plan on going with 315/35r17 in the rear...what size is in the rear of the notch?

I had to trim the stock oem center caps to fit, I used a wider Mickey Thompson 275/40/17

I could be wrong but I thought only one company made wider pony rims in 5 lug?? everything else was 4 lug?
I read the review these are by mavromont. double check on the version, because from what I've read the 5 lug inventory is hit or miss on these.

Lee, are you telling me that the OEM caps don't fit PonyR? If so I am dissappointed for that level of fumble from PonyR

Are these being sold again? Last I checked pony r's weren't being made anymore. They seem to go on and off the market a lot.

Luke, sorry about that, but I think thats why they sell them so cheap. When I bought mine they were a grand or so for just the rims and I spent another $200 on the center caps from Ford.

According to the site they are sold out of every rim in every size which is BS! They got a great site and product but no supply. What's the deal with this company?
