last weekend i put full exhaust over the axles instead of dumps. The driver header had to be modified because it was rubbing on my borgenson steering box. So i felt everything in the steering column.

So do think the sound is more tame now? Hows the power now? I was thinking about putting dumps on mine. The new engine is a lot louder than the old 289 though. I think I'm already exceeding the legal db level with the over axle pipes.

running the full exhaust makes it alot more quiet, but sounds real clean and crisp. keep it goin all the way out the back. The dumps made the car feel like a drag car all the time. I couldnt even listen to the radio or talk at idle.
