are the stock rims 17x9 or 9.5

If you put a tape measure across them they will measure 10" from lip to lip since most domestic Mustang wheels have 0.5" of lip per side... Foreign wheels typically have 0.375" per side.

interesting no wonder why because they look wider than x9 compared to other x9 wheels

New edge mustang wheels have a wider offset too compared to foxes

also whats the biggest size tire that u can put on 17x9 wheels 275 or 285's?

275/40 is what ford put, anything wider is going to bulge and reduce sidewall stiffness.

Yea 275/40/17's is what 03/04 snakes came with at all four corners
