got a loud exhaust ticket in sacramento..do i just get it signed off and pay the fine or do i have to take it into the dmv or something? anybody know the procedure? thanks

I got one a while back, but in Monterey County. I cant remember exactly but one option was somewhere around 300$ and get it signed of. Or just pay a 400$ fine. I just paid the fine. Idk if its the same in Sac County.

Got one as well its a fix it ticket, but if you don't have time to replace the exhaust its about 300 I believe

Was it Chp or sheriff? I never had any sheriff look twice when I ran off road x and bassani. It was pretty loud too.

regular cop at the airport..its checked yes for correctable with code CVC 27151(a)

pay the fine and dont look back I got poped for the same thing in stockton. PD put a sticker on the ticket stating that I could not drive the car untill the REF passed it for the DB test.
The DB limit is 98db 14 inches away at a 45* from the tip at 3250 rpm. my fox failed left was 98db and the right was 98.5db there is a ref in sac and one in modesto at the JC HIS WORDS pay the fine and dont worry about it

ive gotten this ticket already it was 250 without correction not a big deal just pay it and move on.. anything that isnt a point on your record fuck it pay it and keep movin [burnout] AMERICA!
