I agree. I like to see the transformation too, BUT it would probably be better if they had just one thread & added to it every time they detailed a car rather than starting a new thread every time.

I take beat to shit alternators and bring them back. I don't post every single one on gt, there's a time and place for everything.

I think it's fine to show off your work and advertise your business... but do it all in ONE thread. Every time you add new pics to your old thread, it'll bump it back up to the top. If people are interested, they'll take a peek.

No need to fill half the front page of General with separate threads for each car.

Hi folks, sorry, we did not mean to spam the GT forum. We do have specific vendor threads in the vendor section. the detailing threads are meant to show how the products and process work on different cars with different problems. that's just how all other forums are done, one thread per car. unfortunately we don't have a detailing section in norcalford to post these threads. [Frown]

the idea is to show folks what can be done by detailing. not always have to hit the bodyshop, wet sand, etc. And the exact same product would have different result on different car/paint/color, etc.

once again, we do apologize to appear as a spamer, we'll reduce the number of new threads in the GT.

Worst part is the "detail addict" threads are better than 90% of the threads on the first page of GT..

Don't open the tread if you don't want to see it.. Simple concept, really.. Last I checked it was good to promote a car detailing business to enthusiasts who enjoy keeping their car looking clean. It's not their fault that most of CA fords can't afford their details or products.. Sounds like you're one of them.
