This is our Silver Package exterior only. Customer came in with some sort of adhesive on the trunk. Some darn kids in his neighborhood did it, unfortunately.

It was rain pretty hard that day so no sunny pictures, sorry...

Off with the wash

After a good wash, we checked out the condition of the paint. It was BAD.

First off with the clay... Pretty bad, but didn't do too much on the adhesive stuff...

So we continue with the rest of the car and decided to come back to it later...
 -

So faded!
 -

Another look
 -

Closer...
 -

Single pass with G-2500 with Hydro Orange pad
 -

Now back to the trunk and decided to go with G-1500 and Hydro Blue
 -

Then finish it down with G-2500 and Hydro Orange
 -

Then the entire car with G-3500, Carnauba Wax, using Hydro Red

How did the back bumper come out? looks like all the clear has pealed off.

Posted by DetailAddict (Member # 8890) on :

yeah, that was gone... we weren't able to do much for him on that. he needed bodyshop for that one. his primary concern was on the trunk lid, which we took care of.

looks good overall, any detail shots of the clear coat damage under the badges on top of the bumper from after? How was that dealt with?

we washed, polished, wax the same as other area. but since the clear was coming off, it was still the same after, peeling... [Frown]

Posted by DetailAddict (Member # 8890) on :

for this particular package, if i remember correctly, it was $225 (silver addict package) + $75 for some additional work (trunk lid).
