I've been to San Antonio and currently live in Dallas. It's not that bad, all of these Texas cities seem to be the same. I came from a small town in California and moving out here was a huge change for me, now I live in a huge city and actually enjoy it. What are you wanting to know?

We had a rough summer this year, 70+ days of 100+ degrees, so that part kind of sucked. Last winter was my first and it snowed here for four days, nothing you couldn't drive a 2wd vehicle in if you were careful. We came close to a tornado too, it was actually scary, I would way rather go through an earth quake then a tornado, but nothing got tore up. The cost of living is rediculously cheaper out here, you can buy a 2,000sqft home thats 6-10 years old for $150,000+/- out here. Food and fuel are cheaper too, the only thing that I have noticed is alcohol is more expensive. If you like guns then this is the state for you, I buy them when I can afford them, there are some badass guns you can buy here. Also the car scene is pretty crazy, a slow car here is 400rwhp lol.
Overall I've been here for almost a year and it has been awesome, although I haven't decided if I want to come back to Cali yet. [ October 14, 2011, 06:08 PM: Message edited by: Greasy ]
